TEACHGUITAR.COM is the first website Nick made. launched in 2002 to meet the needs of guitar teachers and aspiring guitar teachers. It is still going strong today. The graphics on this site were designed by Nick’s brother: illustrator and caricaturist John Minnion.
SECRETGUITARTEACHER.COM is Nick’s main website. Launched in 2010, it has helped thousands of guitar players worldwide develop their playing skills and understanding of music. Now in its thirteenth year, this site too is still going strong though it is shortly planned to be replaced by a new site that Nick is currently working on: SGT interactive.
The Secret Guitar Teacher Yout Tube channel has acted as Nick’s main shop window since 2010. The videos on this channel have so far been viewed 15.7 Million times and the channel currently has 125,000 subscribers.
Secret Guitar Teacher Interactive
Secret Guitar Teacher Interactive is a work in progress. In some ways this is designed to be Nicks ‘Magnum Opus’ – a concentration of all the ideas and methodologies that Nick has developed to help people learn guitar all bundled into one very comprehensive course. As the title suggests, the sitre is designed to be interactive – so that sitemembers are asked to submit recordings of their playing at various stages on the course for Nick to appraise.
The project has been three years in the making and is anticipated to be ready for launch late in 2023. WATCH THIS SPACE!
Be More Dog is the name of the local pub band Nick currently plays (bass guitar) in.
